mission. You start at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) and then
off you go to begin your mission in England, Russia, Brazil,
Australia, Canada, or wherever you choose to serve! You and your
fellow missionaries must seek out and prepare investigators for
baptism. Watch out for vicious dogs, bike wrecks, slammed doors, and
bug-infested apartments- they are sure to come your way. But do not
despair! Care packages from home, inspiring Zone meetings, and
supportive members will help sustain you! Acquiring Obedience and
Conversion Cards, reading Basic Missionary Scriptures, correctly
answering Mission Rule Bonus Questions, and tracting the outer and
inner pathways of the game board will help you find and prepare your
investigators for baptism. Through diligence and obedience you can
succeed and reach your goals!
Product Reviews:
I like The Missionary Game. I get to baptize people. I want to be
a missionary. Matthew Alan Wilcox, 6 years old Mesa,
Arizona
The Missionary game was really fun. We were excited to see
how much our 14 year old enjoyed it. She doesn't usually get very
excited about anything to do with church. Debbie Wilcox,
Mother Mesa, Arizona
The Missionary Game was easy to learn and fun to play. Our 8
year old got 3 or 4 other games for Christmas, but the one he wants
to play most often is The Missionary Game. Kim Lee,
Mother Spanish Fork, Utah
We really had fun playing The Missionary Game. It was
exciting and challenging. Everyday my grandson was asking us to play
The Missionary Game with him. Joy Clawson,
Grandmother Salmon, Idaho

"Game allows you to go on a mission
without leaving home"
"This is almost as much fun as going on a mission. And a lot less
expensive."
"The object of the game, which is geared for ages 5 to
adult, is to baptize converts. You get contact cards, which tell
about someone the missionaries could baptize if they provide the
right things, like love, inspiration, gospel knowledge and member
friendshipping. These things are attained in the form of cards by
landing on the right spots on the Monopoly-like game board."
"Some converts are harder to baptize than others and require lots
of these cards. Then, you could get lucky and get a golden contact,
who only needs a little help to be baptized."
"Along the way you get letters from home, have to follow the
mission rules, have dogs chase you, get depressed and have to look
up a scripture now and then."
"The instructions were a little overwhelming, but once we got the
hang of it, the game moved along easily. Another advantage this game
has is you can set a time limit so you don't get stuck in that
boring endless time warp, like with Monopoly."
"You can play in competition with each other or work as a
district or whole mission. Our family all worked together to try to
reach our preset mission goal. This was sure nice, because the kids
were not fighting about trying to win. It also is a pleasant change
from the myriad LDS games that test your knowledge of the scriptures
or Church history. This one does have a couple of brain tests, too,
but these are more - a scripture chase and a question about mission
rules."
"The game actually gives you a good idea about mission life. In
fact, you could land on a transfer space and have to give up your
golden contact to someone else. It also helps you understand how
much love and friendshipping we should be giving our nonmember
friends in order to help them see the gospel truth."
